Children's Bible Study  (10:00 a.m.) –Children's Bible Study is a small group experience connecting your child in community with other kids their age. The Bible Studies are led by leaders who want to partner with you to grow your child into a deeper relationship with Christ. Your child’s leader will use fun, age-appropriate activities to reinforce the life app and bottom line for each week.

TeamKID (6:00 p.m.) – We offer an exciting, fun and educational Wednesday night program for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade at 6:00 p.m. 

Kids Make A Difference

At Kern Heights Baptist Church we want to develop Christ-centered Kids who make a difference. As a result, we partner with parents by providing resources and creating environments which help build a foundation in our kids’ lives, which only comes through knowing Jesus. As a parent we know that you may have questions about what to expect. We have provided some answers below to some frequently asked questions.

WHERE DO WE GO?

As you arrive, our hospitality team will be glad to guide you to the children's area located in the Education Center. Once there, a volunteer will get your kids checked in, answer your questions, and escort you to the right classrooms.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD DO?

Kern Heights Kids is designed specifically with your child in mind. We have created unique environments for our nursery, preschool, and elementary age groups, where your child's experience is tailored to their particular stage of development. We pride ourselves in creating safe and fun environments where our children have a blast learning about Jesus! Your child will experience crafts, games, videos, and Bible stories led by caring adults who love to share God's love in creative ways. 

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME?

If your child needs you during the services, for any reason, we will send a volunteer to you during service.

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH KIDS?

We would love to speak with you about how you can get involved in our kids ministry.

Kern Heights Student Ministry  exists to develop Christ-centered students who make a difference. We do that by creating environments where students can Connect with Christ, Transform in Community, and Engage their World.  Whether it’s serving at KHBC, attending Summer Camp, participating in missions in the community, or sharing the gospel with their friends, students learn to use their gifts for the Lord.

The student ministry at KHBC encompasses 7th-12th Grade. 

(6:30 p.m.) –On Wednesday nights, students gather together to play crazy games, enjoy music, enjoy fellowship, pray together and hear the truth from the Bible. Come and experience this fun & exciting time of worship from 6:30 pm- 7:30 pm.

Connection Groups (10:00 a.m.) – Every Sunday morning the students experience Connection groups which are an intentional time of equipping the students with Biblical knowledge that we pray will drive them deeper in their faith and in taking the Gospel into their schools and communities. Discipleship Classes (6:00 p.m.) – Every Sunday evening we offer Discipleship Classes for students who want to dive deeper into God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Christ. These classes meet at 6:00 on Sunday evenings.
