Worship services typically last around an hour. Our people are welcoming and friendly, and most people dress casually. Please don’t worry about what to wear to church – you will be welcomed whether you dress up or wear jeans and a t-shirt. Our music team leads a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns. Pastor Bobby will preach a biblically based message that is interesting, addresses practical life issues, and includes the gospel plan of salvation. We try to worship in a way that invites God’s presence into our midst, because we believe there is no substitute for the presence of God.

• Do you have a nursery? Yes, we have a 1st class nursery that is clean and safe for your little ones. One of our top priorities is making sure our babies are well taken care of ! Our nursery is for babies and young children up to 3 years old.
• Do you have children’s church? Yes, we have children’s church on Sunday mornings during our worship time. The pastor normally dismisses the children right before the sermon and our children’s church volunteers take them next door to our fellowship hall. Ther they will have a Bible lesson, play a Bible-related game, and maybe have a snack. When “big church” is over parents can go next door to pick up their kids. Children’s church is for 4 years old through the first grade.
• Will I be singled out as a visitor? No, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by our people but you will not be asked to stand, sit, or be pointed out in any way. Years ago churches did this but I think we have finally gotten the message that guests feel uncomfortable doing this.
• Will the pastor or someone from the church show up unannounced at my house the following week? No, we respect your privacy and we will not make unannounced visits. However, if you want us to follow up with a call, email, or visit we will gladly do so. We want to get to know you but not by invading your privacy.
• What should I wear? Don’t worry about dressing up. Most of our people dress casually. How you dress is not a big deal to us.
• What denomination is our church affiliated with? We are part of the Southern Baptist Convention. The SBC is not technically a denomination; we are a local, independent, self-governing congregation that cooperates with other SBC churches.. Cooperation with other like-minded churches helps us be more productive in areas such as missions and ministry.
• Where do I park? We have a large asphalt parking area in front of our 3 buildings and also along the side of our new building. We also have an overflow area in the back which we encourage our members to use in order to keep convenient parking places open for our guests.
• What is TeamKID? TeamKID is a “Bible club” for children ages 4 years old through the 6th grade. TeamKID teaches kids the Bible through Bible lessons, music, missions activities, and games/recreation. TeamKID meets on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:00-7:30 PM. We usually have 50-60 kids at TeamKID because they love it!
